Getting Involved

Without volunteers Bourne Free would not be able to hold it's celebrations.

Volunteering with Bourne Free

Without the help and support of volunteers we wouldn’t have an event. Every year a great team return to give up their time to help, but we are always on the look out for new recruits. From helping with setting up & taring down to manning a fire exits, mashing and event first aid. If you are unable to commit to Pride weekend we also have a number of other event during the year, post-pride including Dog Show.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please click the link bellow and we will send you an application form.

Select Volunteering or Committee from the enquiry type dropdown on our contact form to ensure your enquiry goes to the correct team member.

Volunteer Meetings

Throughout the year we try to keep all our volunteers up to date with the goings including a few meetings to gather feedback on our events. Volunteers undergo a training sessions before all events on Health & Safety and volunteer roles, this is mandatory and you will be required to sign in to the training. This is required for insurance purposes and if for any reason you are unable to attend either session please contact us as we may be able to arrange a mop-up event.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer enter your email address below and we’ll keep you updated on upcoming volunteer meetings.

Volunteer Meeting Newsletter

We promise to never spam, we will only send you information about volunteering.

New to volunteering?

Don’t worry, you will not be left on your own.

We offer full training to all our volunteers, including Health & Safety, Emergency Evacuation and other exciting stuff.

All our new volunteers are signed up to our ‘Buddy’ scheme, where you will work with a volunteer that has helped out at Bourne Free previously. So you will always have someone nearby that can help out if you need it.

If you have any questions, or want to talk to someone before you come along to a sign up meeting, please click the button below to contact us.
