Bourne Free would like to take this opportunity to update you all on some changes within the structure of Bourne Free. Our Chairman Chris Ashton-Hollis has had to step away from his role within our charity due to work commitments with which we wish him all the best. Chris will still support the charity going forward but in smaller capacities.
We would like to say a massive thank you to Chris for everything he has done within Bourne Free over many years of dedication. Chris has played a pivotal role in helping the charity to get to where it is today in regards to raising awareness within our community about diversity and the festival of celebration we put on every year.
We now welcome Louise Clarke as our new chair, Louise has volunteered every year since Bourne Free started 11 years ago and has been a trustee for the last 4 years. She is very much looking forward to working alongside the whole Bourne Free team and hopes to keep the charity moving forward and maintaining its importance within the Bournemouth community.
We would also like to announce that we have a new trustee in Ben Horgan. Ben has also been heavily involved within the charity for several years and he will be taking on several roles, one of which is as our volunteer co-ordinator.
We would like to invite you to a community meeting we are holding on Tuesday 23d February at Over The Rainbow from 7pm. This meeting will be open to everyone and we will discuss Bourne Free 2016, putting together the committee for the coming year and other ways in which you could get involved.
We hope to see you on the 23rd of February,
Bourne Free Team
